Tomorrow, my parents and I will head off on vacation. We are headed up to the U.P. and will spend our first night in the crew quarters of the White Fish Pointe Lighthouse. I love to think about all the history that there is in a lighthouse and to imagine what it would have been like to live there for a long period of time. I'm glad we get to pretend for one night at least! I'm also looking forward to the Bird observatory and the museum and.... the gift shop! The gift shop where twelve years ago I got a free pink crystal sucker because I was about to turn nine.
We are also going to spend a couple nights in St. Ignace and enjoy the straights area. And then, back to school. So I have to get as much vacation out of these three days as I possibly can!
