A New Year

Well, I hope that everyone had a blessed Christmas Day! We sure enjoyed the fellowship of other believers and the joy of singing praises to our Savior, it was beautiful. I also hope that as you look toward 2012 you are filled with the peace of our Heavenly Father, and the Hope that only Jesus Christ can give. Enjoy all the festivities, and have a happy new year!

A project

My day today consisted of sitting in the living-room of my dear friend Mrs. Troyer, talking, eating, and crafting. My project? This nifty little thing. I saw this one day while looking around the internet and I said to myself: "Self, I think that you could make that" and so I did. I wish I had a picture of the one I made to show you all, but since I don't, this is very similar to the way mine turned out. And so, now all I need is your addresses to fill it up!

Let me introduce you to my latest accomplishment in the literary world: Leave it to Psmith (the p is silent as in pshrimp). In this book you are introduced to a wonderful array of colorful characters. It was wonderful, I have never laughed so hard in my life. I highly suggest you read it!

P.S. I think I want a pair of lemon colored pyjamas now.

A Tree

We have a tree. We decorated it last night. I love Christmas trees. 

End of the year thoughts

*drum roll please* ... I am officially done with School! (for the semester) And my mind has found other things to dwell on, like a nice long relaxing train trip with my sister across the great United States of America. What do you say?

Motivation

So, like I said before, I am gearing up to do a little sewing over the Christmas season. But right now, I have two days left of school and I need to concentrate on that. However, I'd love to hear what you're up to right now!

British Literature

I recently discovered a British television show based on the mystery series by Agatha Christie called Tommy and Tuppence. It is absolutely hilarious, and very British. I am interested now in reading the books because as we know: the book is always better! On the same note, I just started my first P.G. Wodehouse book, and is it ever funny. I highly recommend both! 1930s Anyone?

I am on a 1930s kick right now. I think it is because I am starting to plan my escapades for Christmas break, which includes a lot of sewing. I find the 1930s style dresses very feminine and refreshing. It's always fun to dream!

Almost

School is almost done, and I will be able to feel the excitement of Christmas! However, today I need to concentrate on my studies (math in particular). I really can't wait though!
